Wasatch Mountain Parrot Head Club News

At the Holiday Party we had a great turn out! Lots of phun, good food and phriends. We had a 50/50 raffle, $460.00 total was split, $230.00 our DJ won. The Fourth Street Pediatric Clinic received the other $230.00 along with a car load of items the Clinic staff had requested, were donated. Thanks goes out to all our caring Parrot Heads.

Lewie and Charlotte's going away party was a very good time but kinda sad. We reminisced about the phun times we had shared and enjoying a slide show of past events. We all wish Lewie and Charlotte the best in their move, but know we will all miss you guys!!

Phins To The West was a lot of phun. We, as always had a great showing I think at last count we had 28 members at this event!! Beautiful weather, nice pool, great Trop-Rock, cold drinks and lots of Parrot Heads to enjoy it with!!

Strutt Your Mutt

Again we had a great turn out, this event is a lot phun they had entertainment, booths, dog shows, refreshments and a nice morning walk with lots of Parrot Head phriends and lets not forget our furry ones too. Our dog pack Margarita Mutts raised $1,240.00 for No More Homeless Pets in Utah. Gina Zupan was the top fund raiser for our pack Thanks Gina!! and thanks to Shannon for all her hard work putting it together!!

Cheese Burger In Paradise It was a phun evening of phriends, games, great food and drink. We held a 50-50 raffle which netted the 4th Street Clinic $50.00

Summer Picnic 2011

The summer picnic was lots of phun!! Jim Hoehn
and Eric Anthony supplied us with great music and stories. They both were very entertaining! Darwin and Lana Pech were awesome hosts, they have a wonderful backyard for events like this thank you both!! Mike mixed up a great batch of rum runner punch that was awesome. Thanks Mike! We had a fair turnout we could have used a few more Parrot heads and friends but unfortunately it was a busy weekend with concerts and a lot of us getting in our vacations before summer is gone. We will
definitely work on choosing better dates next year so we all have a chance to attend. We did manage a donation to Fourth Street small but every little bit helps.

Hugo Duarte

This house concert was lots of phun. Great music and story telling! This was also hosted by the Pech's. We had a great turnout and it was just a beautiful evening with lots of phiends to enjoy it with. With this house concert we were able to give Fourth Street a cash donation of $200.00 plus dollars and clothing too. Thanks all!!

  This was a great time at "Bout Time"!! We had a huge turnout for this event it was great fun! Eric Anthony was just awesome with his music, we even got a taste of JD's Talent (Jeff &Mindy's Son), the place was rocking! We ended up with seventeen new members and met up with half of them in Vegas. Not only were we able to support local artist we are also making a nice donation to Fourth Street Clinic from this event. I would like to thank everybody who put fourth their efforts in making this a fun time especially Jeff & Mindy!

Pre Jimmy Buffett Concert With Eric Anthony

  It was a nice crisp Saturday morning at Liberty Park. We had a great turnout of Parrot heads and raised $1,860.00 for this event. There was lots to see and do, booths and entertainment, they supplied fruit, snacks and drinks. It was a beautiful morning for a walk. Thanks to all who donated and those who came out and donated their time to walk for this worthy cause. Thanks also to Sue and Shannon for heading up this event you all did an awesome job!!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

 We had quite a few Parrot heads and phriends go down for the weekend and a few diehards the next weekend also, I don't have the exact number but we were well represented! It was a wild weekend with Last Man Standing at Tommy Rockers, we had the Largest Margarita with Jimmy at Margaritaville Vegas, the awesome Street Party and I heard one of our members (Mindy) won the dance contest there and of course Jimmy and the Coral Reefers what a night or I guess that's nights! Jimmy and band were awesome as always!!

Vegas Weekend

Bob Karwin was awsome as he always is. We had sixty plus ParrotHeads show up for the party. We would like to thank Lumpy's for helping us out on this event, Noel Applebaum for booking Bob and Rene Evans for lining up Lumpy's for our venue. It was a PHABULOUS evening! We would also like to thank all of you who brought baskets to raffle and items for the 4th Street Clinic, we were able to donate $715.00 in cash and donations to the Clinic!
